Who We Are
The CAMHP Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we do not provide direct services. We also do not award grants or funds to individuals or outside applicants — the funding we pursue is for the infrastructure programs we build, alone or with our partners. We work in the background as an infrastructure builder — writing grants, partnering with other organizations, and drawing up, designing, and putting in place pilot programs — to support the professional providers who deliver mental and physical well-being, and to help them reach Mississippians. Healthier, stronger communities and towns in turn support healthier citizens. The Franklin County Sports Complex is one example of our work in progress.
The Foundation writes and pursues grants, builds partnerships, and designs and installs programs that help professional providers reach people across Mississippi — strengthening the communities themselves, not providing services directly.
CAMHP is one of the professional providers the Foundation works alongside. Providers like CAMHP deliver the direct care — integrated medical and behavioral health care in Mississippi, in person and by telehealth.

The CAMHP Foundation is guided by a new board bringing Mississippi community leadership together with the Foundation's work across Mississippi.
Chairs the Board of Directors and represents the Foundation to community partners, including presenting the Foundation's work to the Bude Town Council.

Every dollar donated flows into one of our four core funds, each targeted at a specific barrier to care.
Helps pay for care, medications, transportation, food, utilities, or emergency needs for patients who cannot afford them.
Supports rural health access projects, community outreach, and the equipment and community spaces rural families need for care in and around Bude, MS.
Supports families involved with CPS, foster care, and child welfare systems — and the children within them.
Builds the next generation of rural healthcare workers through scholarships, supervision, and the Foundation Academy.

How We Make an Impact
Provides devices to patients without smartphones or internet, removing the technology barrier to remote care.
Pays for care visits when a patient has no coverage and cannot afford the fee-for-service rate.
Funds case managers and transportation coordinators — staff roles that insurance doesn't reimburse but families desperately need.
Hosts free support groups, mental health screenings, and community events in Bude and surrounding areas.
In addition to individual donations, the CAMHP Foundation pursues institutional funding for its own infrastructure programs and pilot projects. We do not award grants to outside applicants. Funding we pursue includes:
For Clinicians
The CAMHP Foundation supports clinicians who wish to build or return to independent practice through mentorship, scholarships, continuing education, and training in private practice operations.
The goal is to strengthen relationship-centered, individual care rather than large corporate care systems.
Suggested Programs
We welcome partnerships with businesses, schools, healthcare organizations, faith communities, and community groups to sponsor programs, events, patient funds, and outreach.
